Introduction to Atlas
Atlas Children's Homes support young people with learning disabilities and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties through the provision of therapeutic, trauma-informed residential care. We operate multiple purpose-built, modern homes that each accommodate a maximum of two children, creating a small, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and heard.
Our multi-home model combines the intimacy and security of a small household with the strength of a consistent, skilled team led by one registered manager. Using the PACE therapeutic approach (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy), we're committed to helping children overcome challenges, build resilience and develop the confidence they need for a successful transition into adulthood.

Our Homes
Each Atlas home is purpose-built and thoughtfully designed to feel like a real home. With spacious en-suite bedrooms, modern kitchens, comfortable living spaces, and private gardens, our residents have room to grow, learn and be themselves. A consistent care team and the stability of their environment allow the children to form meaningful attachments, experience genuine belonging, and thrive in a supported setting.
Our Values
At Atlas Children’s Homes, our core values underpin everything that we do:
Anchor
We provide a safe anchor in the community, holding children steady and preventing them from going adrift during the most challenging time of their lives.
Thrive
We ensure that children, staff, and everyone within the organisation flourish to their full potential.
Listen
We value the voices of the children and our staff. It’s essential that we ensure everyone feels heard, respected, and valued.
Ambitious
We have high ambitions for every child we support, and this same ambition is reflected by every member of our team.
Stable
We protect and nurture each child for as long as they need us, ensuring the stability that is often missing from their lives is present.
